Cory Edwards himself is amusing as Twitchy the squirrel, Xzibit is phenomenal as the growly Chief Grizzly. Tye Edwards sounds like a sinister Arnold Schwarzenegger as the villainous Dolph.

And Andy Dick is amazing as Boingo; Boingo is one brilliant bunny and a memorable one at that. To Conclude: “Hoodwinked” is a witty and delightfully whimsical fairy tale for the modern era, albeit this certainly no Shrek. This is one of my favorite movies. It’s clearly made on a budget the animation is less impressive than most modern video games but the writing makes it more than worth it.

The overall plot is very cleverly written and has dozens of clever one-liners which still make me chuckle. It’s a movie that warrants watching at least twice, and even having seen it a dozen times I find something new to appreciate each time. I wish there would be more Hollywood films like this: spend money on good writing, not on flashy graphics.
