Jhankar Mahila Mandal, WCL, Nagpur and Sarathi Trust, in association with UWAN and LAD College for Women, will organise “SAMMAN – Voices, Rights & Realities of the Transgender Community” on Thursday, January 16, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sai Sabagruh, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur.

The key highlight of the programme will be a panel discussion moderated by Twinkle Thakur, a renowned corporate personality, who will steer an insightful and sensitive dialogue centered on the voices, rights, lived realities, and social inclusion of the transgender community.

SAMMAN is envisioned as a meaningful initiative to foster awareness, dignity, and respect through powerful cultural presentations and thoughtful discussions. The programme aims to challenge stereotypes, bring marginalized voices to the forefront, and encourage a more inclusive and compassionate social mindset.

Renowned gourmet chef Vishnu Manohar will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the programme will be presided over by Abha Dwivedi, President of Jhankar Mahila Mandal.
