🎯 SMHHCRC Aims for National Prominence Within Five Years

Nagpur: The Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (DMIHER–DU) Off Campus at Wanadongri continues to flourish, hosting a variety of academic institutions and teaching hospitals. Among its flagship units, the Shalinitai Meghe Homeopathy Hospital College & Research Centre (SMHHCRC) is rapidly emerging with a distinct academic and clinical identity.

📚 To chart its future roadmap, DMIHER (DU) recently constituted an Advisory Board of nationally renowned homeopaths. The inaugural meeting marked a decisive step toward academic excellence, research-driven growth, and holistic student development.

👨‍⚕️ The session was chaired by PadmaShree Dr. Vilas Dangre (Nagpur), who was felicitated for his national honor.
💻 Other participants included Dr. B.R. Dubb (Registrar, J&K Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine and Nodal Officer, Government Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Kathua) and Dr. D.S. Singh (Professor, State Lal Bahadur Shastri Homeopathic Medical College, Prayagraj).

Key officials from DMIHER included Dr. Anup Marar (Director, Off Campus), Dr. Manish Deshmukh (Deputy Director, R&D), and Dr. Prashant Bharbat (Principal, SMHHCRC).

📝 Principal Dr. Prashant Bharbat, under the mentorship of Prof. Manish Deshmukh, presented a forward-looking roadmap emphasizing:

✅ Introducing innovative teaching methodologies
✅ Enhancing clinical excellence
✅ Driving research-based growth
✅ Ensuring holistic student development

👏 The Advisory Board praised the clarity and vision of the plan, providing valuable suggestions for long-term sustainability. Members expressed confidence that SMHHCRC could achieve national prominence within five years, attracting students from across India 🇮🇳 and abroad 🌏.

🔑 In his address, Dr. Vilas Dangre stressed:

“Integrated research is fine, but SMHHCRC should promote pure Homeopathy. Homeopaths must take pride in their pathy and desist from seeking permission to practice other pathies.”

💡 He urged young practitioners to uphold authentic homeopathy in both OPD and indoor practice.
