📰 Major Achievement by Pardi Police: Arrest of Wanted Accused Under MCOCA 🚔💪

Nagpur: The Pardi Police have successfully arrested two absconding criminals wanted under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). 👏

In 2023, a case was registered at Ganeshpeth Police Station under Sections 386, 387, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, along with the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) 1999.
The wanted accused were:
1️⃣ Faizan alias Raj ‘Kalya’ Abdul Rashid Khan (Age 28, Resident of Mirza Galli, Gandhibagh)
2️⃣ Rizwan Hasan Ansari (Age 28, Resident of Lodhipura, Ganeshpeth)
Both had been absconding for the past three months.

On the night of October 15, the night patrol team of Pardi Police Station noticed two suspicious individuals loitering in the Nageshwar Nagar area. When the police asked them to stop, they tried to flee. However, acting swiftly, the team chased them down and caught both near Ambenagar, Pardi, with the help of the SWAF team. 🕵️‍♂️

Upon interrogation, the accused revealed their identities. Further verification showed that both were involved in multiple serious crimes registered across different police stations in Nagpur city and had been on the run from Ganeshpeth Police for three months. Following the orders of Senior PI Nanda Mangade Madam, both were handed over to Ganeshpeth Police Station for further investigation.

This operation was carried out under the guidance of:

The team that executed the operation included PI Nanda Mangade, PSI Arvind Kolhare, Prasad Shinde, Sandeep Lande, Shailesh Kumbhalkar, Yogesh Borekar, Nikhil Mohite, Ritesh Yelmule, and Ravina Bijewar. 🙌
